Bridgestone® Potenza® RE070™ tires grab onto the road and hold on tight. While these tires were engineered for driving on dry or wet roads, they're in the performance summer category. That means you should only drive on them in mild weather because they're not made for wintertime driving.

These tires come in a few different versions tailored to specific vehicles. They are standard on some model years of Nissan vehicles. Not sure if they're right for you? Good thing you're here at Read on to find out more about Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires.

Types of Bridgestone Potenza RE070 Tires

Bridgestone Potenza RE070 R RFT Tires

Bridgestone Potenza RE070 R RFT tires are standard on 2009 and 2010 Nissan GT-R models. These tires provide protection against tire emergencies while on the road. The "RFT" in their name means these tires contain run-flat technology. Drivers can continue down the road for 50 miles at speeds up to 50 miles per hour after one of these tires loses air.

Bridgestone Potenza RE070 R2 RFT Tires

You may find that the original equipment (OE) tire on your Nissan GT-R is the Bridgestone Potenza RE070 R2 RFT. These tires are a slightly different version of Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires. They're still built with run-flat technology, so you can rest assured that you're protected against unexpected flat tires. If you're not sure what version of this tire came on your vehicle originally, you should call your Nissan dealership. The service manager or a service advisor there will tell you which tires are right for your GT-R.
